Tēnā koe, {{first_name}}
Nau mai, hoki mai. Welcome to the final term of 2026!

Last week, we welcomed kaiako from across the motu to Hui ā-Tau 2026 - He peka tītoki, e kore e whati, which took place in Auckland and online. The calibre of this year's kaikōrero was exceptional, and we hope you found the sessions inspiring, insightful, refreshing, and motivational.

This term, we’re delivering the final workshops for the year, Te Ara Whakatere - Te Tairongo me Te Tauranga, and Wānanga Reo. We also have range of resources to be released later in the term.

Ngā mihi,
nā mātou o Ako Panuku
Thank you for joining us at Hui ā-Tau 2026! This year, we delivered 19 sessions over two days, with approximately 160 kaiako participating in our annual event.

This year’s kaikōrero brought a wealth of knowledge, insights and experience to the kaupapa, and we are pleased to share that the recordings for the online and livestreamed sessions are now available on the Ako Panuku website.

We hope you came away feeling inspired and re-energised. If you attended this year's Hui ā-Tau, please take a moment to complete the online survey and share your feedback.

Topics may include te reo Māori teaching and learning, curriculum design, assessment, leadership, or other priorities identified by the group.

If you're interested in joining an existing cluster or establishing one in your rohe,
